Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Boone, North Carolina.

This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on June 8, 2026.

Job Details:

**Required Qualifications:** - 2 years of nursing experience required - 2+ years travel experience required - Proficiency in EMR - EPIC (recent experience required) - BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required - Telemetry skills required - Candidate must have a NC license or Multistate license - Candidates must be comfortable taking a pediatric patient **Preferred Qualifications:** - Previous charge experience **Other Requirements:** - Copy of certifications preferred; all certifications and licenses must be current and not expire while on contract - Local candidates residing less than 40 miles from the facility will not be accepted - Submission must include Qualivis Cover Sheet and NURSYS report - COVID-19 vaccination required, with medical/religious exemptions only **Additional Skills:** - Skills in PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Use of Rapid Response/Code teams - Blood Product Administration - Central and Peripheral line care/management - Management of Cardiac drips- no titration - Nasal Cannula/Oxygen administration - Non-invasive airway management - Isolation Precautions/PPE **Patient Populations:** - Comfort with Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics **Job Requirements & Qualifications:** - Patient ratio experience: 4-5 - Charting System Experience: Required - Travel within hospital required **Submission Details:** - Valid State License (must be pending with ETA clearly stated) - References required - Background policy must be disclosed on profile/application - SSN and DOB provided upon offer acceptance
