**Experience:** - Cardiac ICU experience, pediatrics experience with 2 years required **Certifications Required:** - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BLS (Basic Life Support) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) is listed with an asterisk, indicating it could be preferred or recommended **Skills Required:** - End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, administration of blood & blood products, antiarrhythmics, arterial line management, assist/manage intubation, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patient, care/maintenance of acute airway, central line blood draw, central line/implanted line care, continuous sedation, ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation exposure or experience), hemodynamic monitoring, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), insertion/management of pulmonary artery pressure (PAP) line*, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV vasopressors, management of chest tubes, management of dysrhythmias, pediatric CVICU, pediatric dosage calculations, PICC line management, post cardiac surgery, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, starting and maintaining IVs, suctioning (ETT, NT), tracheostomy care, use of Broselow system, ventilator management **Preferred/Recommended Experience or Conditions:** - Previous charge experience: Not specified - Charting system experience: Not specified - Community hospital experience, LTAC experience, Trauma Level I/II experience, travel experience: Not specified **Patient Care and Unit Details:** - Patient age groups: Neonates, infants, pediatrics - Patient diagnoses include post-op open hearts, single ventricles, complex cardiac anatomy/physiology, heart transplant, heart failure - Special procedures/unit details include invasive cardiac monitoring (CVP, ART, RA, etc.), ECMO & CRRT exposure or experience, vasopressors, cardiac gtts, sedation gtts **Additional Unit Information:** - Special equipment includes BD and Sigma IV pumps, Philips monitors, telemetry, Servo ventilators (ETT and T/V), POC testing (EPOC for blood gases, etc.) **Travel and Compliance Details:** - Do not accept former perm employees as travel - Local radius: 100-mile radius from the facility - Locals not accepted
