Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana.

This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on August 10, 2026.

**Experience Requirements:** - Minimum of 2 years experience required. - Previous charge experience is preferred. - Trauma Level I experience is preferred. - 18 months of experience required in some cases, refer to specific job description for exceptions. **Skills & Competencies:** - Proficient in cardiac monitoring, management of chest tubes, fresh trachs, feeding tube care and management, care of post-op patients, epidurals, management of non-titratable cardiac drips, IV insulin protocols and titration of insulin drips, external BiPAP/CPAP, total laryngectomy, and Doppler flap checks. - Specific skills required include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care/management, chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac), epidural analgesia, feeding tube care and management, heparin protocols, interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, management of cardiac drips (no titration), management of dysrhythmias, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, PCA, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, surgical drains, telemetry, thrombolytic agents, titration of insulin drips, tracheostomy care/management, wound care/wound VAC, total laryngectomy, and flap checks. - Preferred skills include experience with arterial and central lines, fresh tracheostomy and laryngectomy, chest tubes, a variety of surgical drains, care of inpatient post-op patients, enteral feedings, and experience in PCU or ICU. **Certification Requirements:** - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) **Licensure & References:** - License must be in hand before the start date; temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license applications have been submitted. - Two supervisor references required. **Education Requirements:** - Travelers' University must be accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation. **Other Requirements & Preferences:** - Charting system experience is preferred, specifically with Cerner. - Staffing ratios experience: 1:3-4. - Out-of-state residents: require a 3 month/90 day break to reset eligibility prior to the traveler's year mark. - In-state residents: require a 6 month/180 day break to reset eligibility prior to the traveler's year mark. - Must agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment. - Floating within hospital or to an affiliate hospital is 100% required of all travelers. **Travel Experience:** - No specific travel experience required, implies acceptance of first-time travelers.
