Summary:

Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Bloomington, Indiana.


This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on July 14, 2026.

Job Details:

**Experience Required:** - 18 months of experience required; 2 years preferred. - Must be comfortable with PCU and MedSurg. - Previous charge experience is preferred. - Charting System Experience Required: Cerner. **Certifications Required:** - ACLS and BLS required. - NIHSS certification preferred. **Licensure:** - Must obtain an IN, compact, and/or temporary license prior to start. - License must be in hand prior to the start date. Temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license applications have been submitted. **Skills Required:** - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. - Management of post cardiac surgery, TAVI/TAVR, Arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care/management, PICC line management. - Ability to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips. - Preferred skills include intra-aortic balloon pump, pre/post cardiac cath/interventions, sheath removal, ventricular assist devices, and care of ventilated patients. **Patient Care Details:** - Patient Diagnoses include CV Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Cardiology, Endocrine, Oncology. - Special Procedures/Unit Details include care for CVICU patients, including CABG, TAVR, SAVR, MVR, and VATS. - Patient Ratios: 1:5, with potential flexibility. **Other Requirements:** - Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. - COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required. - Flu Vaccine: Required with medical/religious exemptions only. - Two supervisor references required. **Additional Notes:** - Travelers University must be accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation. - Floating is 100% required of all travelers within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby.
