Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a L&D RN to take an assignment in Midland, Texas.
This assignment lasts 16.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on July 20, 2026.

Job Details:

- Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP, NIHSS

**Qualifications and Experience:** - Start date is within the next 3-5 weeks. - Preferred assignment length: 16 weeks, but will consider 13 weeks. - NIHSS, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required. - Previous charge experience is required. - Minimum of 2 years of experience. - Charting system experience is preferred, specifically Cerner. - Experience in administration of blood & blood products, labor & delivery, cesarean sections, high-risk antepartum, and multiple other specific clinical skills. - Ability to assist with high-risk delivery, sterile speculum exam, and vaginal delivery. **Patient Care and Clinical Skills:** - Experience with administration of blood products, antepartum care, antihypertensives, APGAR scoring, high-risk deliveries, breastfeeding/lactation support, and fetal monitoring. - Proficiency with epidural anesthesia, cesarean section circulation and recovery, pain assessment & management, postpartum hemorrhage management, labor triage, vaccine administration, and more. **Skills Required:** - Use of EFM, internal and external fetal monitoring. - Use of infusion pumps and IV monitoring. - Starting and maintaining IVs. - Management of patient ratios: Days, nights, weekends at 2:1. - Familiarity with use of specialized obstetric medication and techniques including pitocin, magnesium sulfate therapy, insulin drips, terbutaline. - Experience with fundus, lochia, perineum care, and facility births. **Certifications:** - ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP, NIHSS **Additional Requirements:** - Flu vaccine is required although medical/religious exemptions and declinations are allowed. - Local candidates should be within a 50-mile radius but local rules are not accepted. - Pre-approved time off and holiday work expectations. - Pending license accepted with documentation and must be active before start. **Drug Screen:** - Must pass an on-site drug screen testing for various substances including Amphetamine, Cocaine, Meth, Opiates, etc. Failure will result in cancellation of assignment.
