**Required Experience:** - Minimum of 1 year OT at Acute Hospital - 18 months experience required, with potential exceptions based on the unit - License must be in hand prior to start date - Experience in managing high acuity ICU/PCU is preferred **Preferred Experience:** - Cerner Experience - Previous Charge Experience: Not specifically required **Certifications and Licensure:** - BLS - IN state license - NBCOT **Skills and Qualifications:** - Functional Activities - Assessment - Billing, High Acuity ICU & PCU, Acute Disorder, Chronic Disorder - Manual Therapy*Skills including but not limited to Above knees prosthetics*, Amputee, Arthritis, Arthritis program*, Coma Management*, CVA Rehabilitation - Dementia/Alzheimers, Evaluation, Discharge, Edema Massage* - Hand Injury, Hip Fracture and Total Hip Replacement - Kinesiotaping*, Knee Injuries and Total Knee Replacement - Lifting and transfer*, Lower Extremity* - Lymphedema management* - Multiple Sclerosis, Nerve Injury, Parkinson’s disease, Patient/Family Education - Plan of Care, Reassessments, Safety and injury prevention* - Serial/Inhibitory*, Soft Tissue Injuries, Spinal cord injury*, Static splints*, Telephone calls* - Tendon Repair*, Traumatic Brain injury, Upper Extremity, Upper extremity prosthetics* - Infection Prevention *, Fall/Risk Assessment * **Special Procedures/Unit Details:** - Inpatient acute care rehab team of 19 professionals, dealing with diagnoses such as CABG & other cardiac procedures, stroke, TBI, joint replacements, fracture repairs, respiratory illnesses, dementia, MS, Parkinson, amputation etc. **Other Requirements:** - Must provide 2 supervisor references - Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays - Floating is 100% required of all travelers - Charting System: Cerner preferred - Royal Blue Scrubs, Black Shoes **Education:** - Travelers’ University must be accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation
