Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a Cath lab RN to take an assignment in Topeka, Kansas.

This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on August 10, 2026.

Job Details:

**Certifications/Licensure:** - AHA BLS required - Kansas (KS) or multistate nursing license required - All required licensure and certifications must be current at the time of submission - No pending certifications or licenses allowed - No hits on license, no exceptions **Experience:** - Recent Cath Lab experience required (within the last year) - Must have experience with STEMI, PCI, impella, and IABP - Experience with peripheral angiogram and intervention work **Skills/Qualifications:** - Ability to perform patient assessment and continuous monitoring before, during, and after procedures - Proficiency in administering medications, including moderate sedation, per physician orders - Competency in assisting physicians during cardiac catheterization and other invasive procedures using sterile technique - Skill in monitoring cardiac rhythm, hemodynamic status, and patient response throughout procedures and recovery - Experience with GE MacLab and EPIC for charting - Ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, arrhythmias, or procedural complications - Collaborative skills to work with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans - Document nursing assessments, interventions, medications, procedural events, and patient response accurately - Provide patient and family education related to procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions - Participate in Cath Lab on-call rotation for emergent STEMI and other urgent procedures with a 30-minute response requirement **Leadership/Professionalism:** - Demonstrates professional nursing practice guided by Jean Watson's Theory of Human Caring - Promotes effective communication and a respectful, collaborative work environment - Precepts and mentors staff and students as assigned - Participates in shared governance, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice initiatives
