Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a OT OT to take an assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Required Experience and Skills: - Acute care experience, preferably with level 1 trauma experience - Strong communication skills - Desire to work with a variety of patient populations Certifications and Licensure: - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - State License required - Pending state license accepted Years of Experience: - Minimum of 1 year required Preferred Experience: - Trauma Level I experience preferred - Experience with the charting system Epic preferred Special Requirements and Skills: - Establishing treatment plans and providing treatment - Educating and collaborating with patients, families, and other healthcare providers - Delegating tasks to assistants and techs with appropriate competency assessment - Completing documentation in accordance with departmental policies - Skills in adaptive equipment assessment, cognitive assessment, discharge planning, home exercise program, lifting and transfer, patient/family education, plan of care, reassessments, and safety and injury prevention Additional Information: - Role is primarily inpatient acute care - Clinician may float within therapy service lines - Local candidates not accepted within a 75-mile radius Travel Compliance Notes: - Maximum of 7 days of requested time off within a 13-week contract - No local travelers allowed, except for specified roles (Patient Care Technicians, Certified Nurse Assistants, and Medical Assistants) - Compliance must be completed by 3pm CST before start date - Epic charting system experience preferred - Modules and compliance requirements need to be completed prior to starting
