**Required Experience and Qualifications:** - Minimum of 18 months permanent OR experience is required. - 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for is required, with preference given to experience within one location, though not mandatory. - Previous charge experience and specific patient ratio experiences are not specified as required. **Licensure:** - Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission. **Certifications:** - AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are required. - Required certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission. **Preferred Experience:** - OR RN circulator experience. - Scrub experience is preferred, but not mandatory. **Other Requirements:** - One reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM), supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required. References should be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. **Testing and Assessments:** - PBDS Assessment is waived. - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate must be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required, with a maximum of two attempts allowed. **Health Requirements:** - COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required, with exceptions for medical or religious reasons only. - Nurses and CSTs are temporarily exempt from the Nicotine-Free Facility Requirements. All other travelers (aside from Nurses and CSTs) must be nicotine-free, verified by a negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start. **Compliance and Assignments:** - Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date. - BCI/FBI prints are time-sensitive and must be completed within 48 hours of signing a contract. - Travellers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, with a required 6-month break before returning, unless approved by the client. **Modules and Training:** - Modules are required pre-start and annually; time needed varies by specialty. Average 6-15 hours of modules, with only 4 hours billable. - Modules are recorded via Silkroad.
