**Required Skills/Certifications/Experience:** - Minimum Years of Experience: 2 - Traveler Experience: Required - Skills: LDRP, Mother/Baby, Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Use of External and Internal Fetal Monitoring, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Breastfeeding Support/lactation support - Certifications: BLS, AWHONN, NRP **Preferred Skills/Certifications/Experience:** - Previous Charge Experience: Preferred - EPIC experience **Additional Information:** - Require at least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience. - Certifications: ACLS*, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM*, NRP - Must have skills including but not limited to: Administration of blood & blood products, Amnioinfusion, Antepartum*, Anticoagulation therapy, Antihypertensives, Antiseizure, APGAR scores, Assist with amniocentesis*, Assist with Circumcision/Assess site post-op, Assist with high-risk delivery, Assist with sterile speculum exam, Assist with vaginal delivery, Breastfeeding Support, Car Seat Education, Cesarean Section, Collect cord samples, Cord Care, Couplet Care, Discharge teaching to parents, Drawing Venous Blood, Epidural Anesthesia, Episiotomy/Incisional Care, Fundus/lochia/perineum care, Hemorrhage/shock, High-Risk Antepartum*, ID/Security Banding, Infant Identification, Insulin drips, Interpretation of dysrhythmias*, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Labor & Delivery, LDRP, Level I Nursery, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Maintain central lines, Newborn Assessment, Newborn hypoglycemia, Pain assessment & management, Phototherapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy-induced hypertension, Prostaglandins, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Reflex checks/edema assessment/clonus, Spiral Electrode Placement*, Starting and maintaining IVs, Sterile vaginal exam, Teach Circumcision care to parents, Terbutaline, Thermoregulation, Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM, Use of infusion pumps/drips/IV monitoring, Vaginal Delivery, Wound assessment/care - Local candidates (within 50 miles) have a lower rate applied. - NC or Compact license pending is OK for submittal. - Candidates must be open to floating within/near facility per job description.
