Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a CVICU RN to take an assignment in Chicago, Illinois.
This assignment lasts 13 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on August 31, 2026.

**Required Experience and Skills:** - EPIC experience - Knowledge and experience with CRRT, CABG, Stroke, TNK - Experience in assisting bedside procedures: intubation/extubation, central line placement, arterial line placement, chest tube insertion, thoracentesis, TEEs, cardioversions - Managing patients on ventilators, bipap/avaps, and oxygen delivery methods - Managing patients on vasoactive medications - Experience with general surgical procedures, stroke/neuro procedures, cath lab interventions, interventional radiology procedures - Managing sepsis, GI Bleed, COPD, CHF, DKA patients - Interpreting invasive hemodynamic values (CO/CI/SVV/CVP/SvO2) **Preferred Experience:** - Open heart experience (CABG, valve surgeries, AAA) - Comprehensive stroke experience (EVD, thrombectomy, TNK) - Managing patients on assist devices: IABP, Impella, CRRT (Prisma) - Experience with prone positioning and paralytics (TOF/BIS monitoring) **Certifications:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) **Licensure:** - Nursys (License verification) **Other Requirements:** - Works every other weekend and holiday if sick call occurs - Expected floating if ICU experiences low census - No requested time off during holidays **Professional and Personal Health History Requirements for Onboarding:** - Nursys License - Basic Pharmacology Exam - Specialty Exam - Education Verification - Driver's License/State ID - OIG (Office of Inspector General) - Drug Screening (minimum 10-panel test) - Color-blind test - Agency Attestation - SAM/EPLS (System for Award Management/Excluded Parties List System) - COVID-19 Vaccine - MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - Fit Test - Hepatitis B - Influenza Vaccine - TB Test - Varicella - Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) - Annual TB Questionnaire - Social Security Card - Physical/Health Statement - Core Competencies Exam - Criminal Background Check - Badge Photo - Form I-9 (Employment eligibility verification) - Job Description - Essentials Onboarding Packet - Onboarding Education Attestation **Optional Requirements:** - Positive PPD- Negative Chest X-Ray - Name Verification Affidavit - COA (Certificate of Achievement)
