Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a School SLP to take an assignment in San Angelo, Texas.
This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on September 8, 2026.

**Qualifications and Requirements:** - **Experience:** Prefer travelers with experience, but open to first-time travelers with prior outpatient experience. Minimum of 1 year of experience required. - **Charting System:** Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred. - **Certifications:** BLS, CCC-SLP, and LSVT (LSVT Loud Companion requires LSVT certification). - **Licensure:** Texas License required. - **Skills:** Acoustic Analysis, Adult Outpatient experience, Alternative Communication Devices, Assessment, Augmentative Communication, BAE (Boston Aphasia Evaluation), Bedside Swallow Evaluation, CADL (Communication Ability for Daily Living), CELF (Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals), Communication Board, Compensatory Strategies, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Degenerative Diseases, Discharge, Dysarthria, Dysphagia, Evaluation, Fluency, Frazier Free Water Protocol, Functional Maintenance Programs, Hyolaryngeal Exercises, International Dysphagia Diet, Interpreting Modified Barium Swallow Studies, Memory Aide, Modifying Diet Orders, Myofascial Release/Manual Therapy, Oral Motor, Oral Peripheral Exam, Patient/Family Education, Plan of Care, Point of Service Documentation, Reassessments, Signs & Symptoms of Physical, Sexual, Psychological abuse, SLP Evaluation Coding, TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury), Thermal Simulation, Thickening Agents, Voice, WAB (Western Aphasia Battery). **Additional Requirements:** - **COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines:** Required with medical/religious exemptions only. - **Travel Experience:** Highly preferred. - **Local Rule:** Not accepted within a 110-mile radius. **Patient and Clinical Details:** - **Patient Age Groups:** Adults and geriatrics. - **Patient Diagnoses:** CVA, Parkinson Disease, Concussion, Voice, Dysphagia, Oncology (head and neck cancer), Dementia, Alzheimer's, MS, among other neurologic disorders. - **Daily Census:** 9-10 patients. **Compliance and Submission Details:** - **License and Certifications:** Must be in hand at submission. ACLS/BLS/NIHSS/Nursys required. - **Documentation:** Hard documents due by noon CST Wednesday prior to start date. - **Labs:** Clinicians must complete lab items within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a clear plan for completion.
