Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a NICU RN to take an assignment in Odessa, Texas.
This assignment lasts 8.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on September 8, 2026.

Job Details:

**Experience Requirements:** - Minimum 2 years NICU experience - 3 years of overall experience - Previous charge experience preferred - Previous travel experience required - Patient ratio experience (3:1) - Charting system experience required, specifically Cerner - 1 year experience in profession for resume submission - Local Rule: Not accepted, must be outside a 50-mile radius **Certifications Required:** - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - STABLE (Post-resuscitation/pre-transport stabilization care) - BLS (Basic Life Support) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) * if applicable **Skills Required:** - Administration of blood & blood products - Anti-Seizure Medications, Antibiotics/Antivirals - APGAR scoring - Arterial line management - Assist with lumbar puncture - Attend high-risk deliveries - Blood glucose monitoring - Breastfeeding support/handling of breast milk - Bubble CPAP - Central line blood draw and care - Developmental care - Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage) - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) - High Frequency Ventilation - Hyperbilirubinemia, Insulin administration - Isolation Precautions/PPE - IV vasopressors, Management of Chest Tubes - Meconium Aspiration - Mother/Baby* (if applicable) - Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC) - Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome - Neonatal Dosage Calculations - Neonatal Sepsis - Care for neonates 29-34 weeks, NICU III experience - Nitric Oxide (INo) - Oxygen Delivery Systems - Patient/family teaching - Pediatrics* (if applicable) - Phlebotomy, Phototherapy - Placement/Management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes - Respiratory distress syndrome - Sepsis Work Up - Starting and maintaining IVs - Steroids, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Surfactants - Telemetry - on the unit monitoring - Therapeutic hypothermia (cooling blanket) - Thermoregulation - UAC (Umbilical Artery Catheter) - UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter) - Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP) **Additional Details:** - Flu vaccine required, with exemptions allowed for medical/religious reasons - Not required to have COVID-19 vaccine - Travel experience mandatory - Flexibility required for floating to Pediatrics and Nursery departments - Experience in High-risk Level III NICU settings **Submission Requirements:** - RTO (Request for Time Off) required with submission - Submission of resume and compliance with document requirements prior to hard deadline on Tuesdays at 4:30pm CST
