Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana.

This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on September 21, 2026.

**Required Experience and Skills:** - Minimum 2 years of experience - 18 months experience required (refer to job description for any unit exceptions) - Proficient in cardiac monitoring (on-unit monitoring) - Management of chest tubes - Fresh tracheostomy and laryngectomy experience - Feeding tube care and management - Care of post-operative patients - Epidurals - Management of non-titratable cardiac drips - IV insulin protocols and titration of insulin drips - External BiPAP/CPAP - Doppler flap checks **Preferred Experience:** - Previous Charge Experience - Trauma Level I Experience preferred - Experience in the following: Arterial and central line, fresh tracheostomy and laryngectomy, chest tubes and variety of surgical drains, care of the inpatient post-op patient, and enteral feedings - Charting System Experience preferred (Cerner) **Certifications:** - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BCLS/BLSS (Basic Cardiac Life Support/Basic Life Support) **Licensure:** - License must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license applications have been submitted. **Other Requirements:** - Two supervisor references required - Floating is 100% required of all travelers - candidates will float within hospital or to affiliated hospitals nearby - SSN required at time of submittal - DOB required at time of submittal **Facility Details:** - Surgical PCU unit with almost ICU level acuity - Staffing Ratios: 1:3-4 - Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) - IU Health University and Methodist facilities require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment **Floating and Relocation Restrictions:** - Locals not accepted for MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, and ER positions - IN residents are considered local and have specific local rules - No specific charting required for any IU health positions
