Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a L&D RN to take an assignment in Kansas City, Missouri.
This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on October 19, 2026.

**Required Experience:** - 3 years of experience - Travel experience **Preferred Experience:** - Community Hospital Experience **Certifications Required:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring) - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) **Preferred Certifications:** - AWHONN Advanced - AWHONN Intermediate **Required Skills:** - IV therapy/Phlebotomy (Administration of blood & blood products, Drawing Venous Blood, Start & maintain peripheral IV, Use of infusion pumps/drips/IV monitoring) - Labor and Delivery Management (Amnioinfusion, Assist with vaginal delivery, Circulate for C-section, Forceps/vacuum extraction, Hemorrhage/shock, Recover C-Section, Sterile vaginal exam) - Work Settings (Antepartum, LDRP, Level I Nursery, Mother/Baby) - Medication & Administration (Antihypertensives, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin, Prostaglandins, Terbutaline) - Neonatal Care in Delivery Room (Collect cord samples, ID/Security Banding) - Newborn Care (Assist with Circumcision/Assess site post-op, Car Seat Education, Cord Care, Discharge teaching to parents, Infant Identification, Metabolic Screen, Newborn Assessment, Newborn hypoglycemia, Phototherapy, Teach Circumcision care to parents, Thermoregulation) - Antepartum Care and Procedures (NST, Reflex checks/edema assessment/clonus, Sterile vaginal exam, Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM) - Postpartum Care and Procedures (Baby friendly protocols, Breastfeeding Support/lactation support, Episiotomy/Incisional Care, Foley Catheter insertion, Fundus/lochia/perineum care, Use of Electric/Manual breast pump, Wound Assessment and Care) - Postpartum Care of the Patient with (Bladder Distension, Cesarean Section, Couplet Care, Multiple Births, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Vaginal Delivery) - Surgical Case/Procedures (D & C, Tubal Ligation) - Pain Management (Epidural Anesthesia, General Anesthesia, Opioids, Pain assessment & management, Use of PCA) - Professional Topics and Skills (Isolation Precautions/PPE, Vaccine Administration) - Fetal Monitoring (Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Spiral Electrode Placement, Use of External and Internal Fetal Monitoring, Use of IUPC placement and calibration) - Additional Skills: Post operative gynecology (hysterectomy) care **Skills Preferred:** - Labor and Delivery Management: Assist with high risk delivery, Scrub for C-Section - Work Settings: Low risk - Medication & Administration: Anticoagulants, Anticonvulsants - Neonatal Care in Delivery Room: APGAR scores, Neonatal Resuscitation, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation - Antepartum Care and Procedures: Assist with sterile speculum exam - Surgical Case/Procedures: Cervical Cerclage - Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Care: Infant/neonatal arrest, Use of Rapid Response team **License Requirements:** - No pending licenses accepted - Must have Kansas and Missouri or compact license at time of submission **Additional Requirements:** - EPIC charting experience required - On-call: 2 mandatory on-call shifts each 6-week schedule - Must be open to floating within the LDRP unit and possibly between departments, units and facilities - Locals must reside at least 75 miles from the facility - Maximum of 7 days of RTO for Ayah Offer - Flu Vaccine required with only Medical/Religious Exemptions - COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
