**Required Experience and Clinical Skills:** - Background in Critical Care/Cardiac Critical Care - Experience in Open Heart Recovery and Post Cardiac Procedure Recovery - Ability to manage post-surgical care for Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Thoracotomies, TAVRs, and Post Complex PCI Interventions **Procedures:** - Experience with Post-Open Heart, Post-Cardiac Procedures, Surgical Management - Skilled in Central Line Placements, Arterial Line Placements, Chest Tube Placements - Familiarity with Edwards Monitoring, GE Monitoring, SWAN Ganz catheters, etc. **Certifications and Licensure:** - Nursys - License/Certificate Verification **Testing and Competencies:** - Ascension Pharmacology Exam - Ascension Specialty Exam - Ascension Core Competencies - Ascension EKG Exam - Ascension Unit Specific Checklist (Optional for Onboard) **Health Requirements:** - COVID-19 Vaccine - MMR - Fit Test - Hepatitis B - Influenza Vaccine - Health Statement - 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) - Varicella - Tdap **Professional Requirements:** - Ascension Profile and 2 Professional References - Ascension Skills Checklist - Ascension Criminal Background Check Results - Ascension Education and Employment Verification **Optional Documents:** - Positive PPD- Negative Chest X-Ray and Annual TB Questionnaire - Ascension Name Change Document Candidates will also need a Driver's License/State ID for onboard submission.
