Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Morgantown, West Virginia.
This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on October 19, 2026.

**Certifications Required:** - Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) if required by the unit **Experience Required:** - 1.5-2+ years of RN experience - 2 years of Stepdown experience - 1 year of experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele) - Ability to read telemetry strips **Charting System Experience:** - Required: Experience with Cerner **Skills Required:** - Intravenous (IV) start - Telemetry - BiPAP/CPAP management - Blood product administration - Cardiac telemetry - Central line care/management - Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac - CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) - Feeding tube care and management - Heparin protocols - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Isolation precautions/PPE - IV insulin protocols - Manage cardiac drips - no titration - Manage vasoactive drips - no titration - Management of dysrhythmias - Nasal cannula - Non-invasive airway management - Ortho trauma - Oxygen administration - Oxygen tanks - Patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) - Peripheral line care/management - Phlebotomy - PICC line management - Post myocardial infarction (MI) care - Pre/Post cardiac catheterization - Pre/Post cardiac surgery - Pre/Post hemodialysis management - Procedural sedation administration/monitoring - Sheath removal - Starting and maintaining IVs - Surgical drains - Telemetry - on the unit and remote monitoring - Titrate cardiac drips - Titrate vasoactive drips - Titration of insulin drips - TR Band - Tracheostomy care/management - Use of rapid response/code teams - Wound care/wound vac **Additional Requirements:** - WV or Compact RN License required; pending license accepted - Must have permanent address 100 miles from the facility; candidates between 75-100 miles considered case-by-case - Minimum 2 Manager/Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years - Submission of a complete application with required certifications at the time of submission **Additional Information:** - Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical exemptions only - No travel experience required - Previous charge experience is not listed as required - Former permanent employees must wait 2 years before returning as traveler - Current Vandalia Health System employees are not eligible for travel contracts within the system
