**Experience and Skills Required:** - 2+ years of RN experience required. - Must have experience with direct fresh open-heart admissions from OR, pressure monitoring, Swan-Ganz management, Impella monitoring, and CRRT. - Experience in arterial line management, assist with chest tube insertion/removal, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, CVA/acute stroke management, CVVHD/CRRT, Impella, infection prevention, interpretation of ABGs, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, PICC line management, pre/post cardiac cath/intervention, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, sheath removal, starting and maintaining IVs, suctioning (ETT, NT), surgical intensive care unit, titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), valve repair/replacement, and ventricular assist device (LVAD/RVAD). **Certifications Required:** - ACLS, BCLS, NIH - BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be through the American Heart Association (AHA). **Licensure:** - WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission. **Preferred Experience:** - Travel experience not required but preferred if available. - Charting system experience preferred, specifically with Cerner. **Submission Requirements:** - Minimum 2 Manager/Charge Nurse references within the past 2 years required. - RN License verification (NURSYs pulled within 2 days of submittal date). - All required certifications must be included in the submittal packet. - Must include a candidate profile with work history and a specialty-specific skills checklist. **Additional Requirements:** - Candidates must have a permanent address at least 100 miles from the facility. Candidates between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis. - Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from the last permanent employment date before returning as a traveler. - Flu Vaccine required, medical exemptions only. COVID-19 Vaccine not required.
