**Cath Lab/Vascular Tech Requirements and Qualifications:** - **Years of Experience Required:** 1 - **First-timers Accepted:** Yes - **Preferred Experience:** Experience in Level 1 trauma, Teaching hospital, Siemens Zeego Hybrid Fluoro machine - **Required Skills:** Hybrid Fluoro equipment (e.g., Siemens Zeego or GE Alia), Cardiac Cath procedures, Cath Lab, Vascular, Siemens equipment, EPIC charting - **Responsibilities:** Operating Siemens Zeego during vascular procedures, patient vitals monitoring, using mac lab in cath lab procedures - **Skills (Detailed):** Accurate monitoring, Angioplasty, Aortography, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Carotid Stenting, Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, Embolization, Endovascular Interventions, Equipment set up, Fluoroscopy, Hemodynamic monitoring, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella insertion, Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement/removal, Interventional Cardiac Cath lab, Interventional Radiology, Laser-assisted procedures, Left heart catheterization, Maintains equipment, PACS, Perform EKG lead placement, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Right heart catheterization, Rotablator atherectomy, Siemens*, Special Procedures, Stent placement, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Ultrasound, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography - **Required Certifications:** RT R (Radiologic Technologist Registered), BLS (Basic Life Support) - **Preferred Certification:** ARRT VI (Vascular Interventional Radiography) - **Licensure:** - MO: Submit without license OK; requires MO or compact license - IL: License in hand required at time of submittal - Compact: Must match permanent residence - **Charting System Experience:** EPIC (preferred) - **Floating:** Will float within scope to meet facility needs. - **Local Candidates:** Not accepted within a 75-mile radius. - **Pending State License:** Accepted **Special Requirements and Compliance:** - **Shift Details:** Monday - Friday with one day off during the week (alternating). No weekends, no call - **Hospital Location:** Barnes Jewish Hospital - Southwest Tower - Cardiac Cath Lab - **Facility Type:** Short Term Acute Care, Teaching/Level Trauma - **Scrub Color:** Royal Blue - Provided - **Additional Certification for Barnes-Jewish Hospital:** ACLS Required - **Compliance Deadlines/Requirements:** Compliance deadline is 3pm CST on the Monday of the week before the initial start date.
