Neuro ICU Registered Nurse

*Must have Neuroscience ICU background, strong experience in EVD, ICP, angiogram post care, CRRT, carotid, embolizations.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: SHIFT- Nights- 3x12hrs shifts- 18:45-07:15 - If anyone is willing to rotate day/night - that would be great too - looking for flexibility with shift if possible - w/ Weekends (EOW) And Holidays as needed, & 1 HARDSHIP SHIFT DEPENDING ON THE TIMEFRIME OF THE ASSIGNMENT
Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Wellspan guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis. *Manager will interview
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years Neuro ICU
CERTIFICATIONS: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
EPIC exp required
RTO: MAX 7 days
HOLIDAYS: as needed; will be expected to work 2 of 3 upcoming holidays, no RTO between Christmas and New Years
FLOATING: may be asked to float to other ICU's if needed
UNIT INFO: Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit (NSICU) is a 10-bed intensive care unit (ICU) that provides care to critically ill?stroke patients (both ischemic and hemorrhagic) and non-traumatic neurosurgery and neurology patients 18 years and older and serves as an overflow unit for?medical?patients.?Post-operative neurosurgery and?neuro-endovascular surgery?procedures and care provided include, but are not limited to: ICP monitoring,?care post?IV and/or?IA?tPA?administration, mechanical thrombectomy, AVM repair, aneurysm repair, carotid stenting procedures, craniotomy, CRRT,?ventilator management,?and?hemodynamic monitoring.??
