Weekend Requirement: every other
Holidays are required

Float: Will float to other MS, ICU and ED Waiting to take M/S patients as needed
1.5 year MedSurg or PCU experience.
Must be ok with ratios (1:6) may flex higher, support staff on site in these rare occasions
Michigan RN License
BLS (AHA) and NIH are required
Strong Post Surgical Competencies Required

Colostomy care
Feeding tube care and management
Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management
Accessing Ports
Blood Product Administration
Peripheral Line Care/Management
PICC line management
Starting IVs
Heparin
Insulin

Surgical drains
Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac
High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
Nasal Cannula
Non-invasive airway management
Oral suctioning
Oxygen face masks
Portable Oxygen tank
Tracheostomy Management
Isolation Precautions
Wound Care/Wound Vac
