ICU RN Job Details

Position Title: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19104
Start Date: September 15, 2025
Assignment Length: 13-week contract
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Schedule: Every other weekend; 1 holiday required
Floating: Between Founders 9 and City 14 ICU units
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,950 – $2,090

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Pennsylvania or compact state
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
Ability to float between multiple intensive care units
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

ICU RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
Administer medications, manage IVs, and operate advanced life support equipment
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Float between Founders 9 and City 14 ICU units as assigned
Provide support and education to patients and their families
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
