Key Job Details – Telemetry RN

Location: Springfield, IL 62769 (Illinois healthcare jobs)
Setting: Cardiac/Pulmonary Telemetry Unit
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: October 20, 2025
End Date: January 18, 2026
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (NOC), every other weekend required
Hours per Week: 36
Patient Ratio: 1:6-7, supported by 2 unit techs
Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1950-$2090

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Illinois RN license (Illinois nursing jobs)
Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
Strong clinical skills in cardiac and pulmonary patient care
Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions in a telemetry unit
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with physicians, techs, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record
Respond to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate interventions
Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families
