Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Pratt, Kansas 67124 – Enjoy Midwest living with easy access to parks, local shops, and a relaxed lifestyle.
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 3, 2025
• End Date: February 2, 2026
• Shift: Day shift, Monday-Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (06:30 - 15:00)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On Call: Call every 5th or 6th weekend and one day during the week
• Patient Population: Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
• Unit: Operating Room (OR)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1860-$2000

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Kansas RN license or compact state nursing license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (proficiency in Ortho/total joints, general, and OB required)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Experience with special procedures/equipment: Orthopedics, GYN, Podiatry, General Surgery, Endoscopy, Labor and Delivery (C-sections)
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Professional reference required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

OR RN Responsibilities

• Serve as an OR RN Circulator, delivering safe and effective patient care during surgical procedures
• Assist with a variety of surgical cases including orthopedics (total joints), general surgery, OB/GYN, podiatry, endoscopy, and labor/delivery (C-sections)
• Maintain compliance with infection control, fire safety, laser safety, and radiation safety protocols
• Manage specimen labeling, universal protocol (time out) procedures, and wound care management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, and Pharmacy
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage as scheduled
• Utilize electronic charting systems as required
