Unit: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
Assignment Type: Travel nursing assignment
Start Date: December 21, 2025
End Date: April 11, 2026
Duration: 16 weeks
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Estimated Weekly Salary: $2200 - $2360

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NH or compact state)
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
Required certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills
Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities

ICU RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the MICU
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to critical care treatments
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Administer medications, manage IVs, and operate advanced life support and monitoring equipment
Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery expectations
Maintain a safe, supportive, and compliant environment for patients and healthcare staff
