ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona – required for Arizona nursing jobs
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications
• No license hits
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (declinations may be considered)
• Must not have an Arizona home address on driver’s license

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to ICU patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress in the intensive care setting
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Respond to emergencies and deliver advanced life support as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as required by the healthcare facility
