Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
At least 1 year of recent experience in Labor & Delivery and Post-Partum nursing
Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
BLS certification required
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and post-partum periods
Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on post-partum care and newborn health best practices
Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
Maintain a safe, supportive, and patient-centered environment for all
