Travel Nurse Job Details

Location: Clarksville, TN 37040 (Tennessee nursing jobs)
Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract
Start Date: November 17, 2025
End Date: February 16, 2026
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1360–$1460
Unit: Emergency Department (44 beds)
Patient Ratio: 1:5
Block Scheduling: Available
Weekend & Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Tennessee RN license or compact/multistate nursing license
Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (2 years preferred)
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (ARC/AHA only)
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Ability to work every other weekend and holiday as needed
Travel nurses must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Navy scrubs required

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care to Emergency Room patients using the nursing process
Utilize critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care
Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training
Delegate patient care tasks according to staff education and experience
Supervise and guide assigned personnel in delivering patient care
Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and the Tennessee Nurse Practice Act
