Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Type: Travel RN – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
Location: Hattiesburg, MS 39402 (Mississippi travel nursing jobs)
Start Date: November 17, 2025
End Date: February 16, 2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Mississippi or compact state
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft) recovery or CVICU nursing
Ability to excel in a fast-paced critical care environment and work night shifts
Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse eligibility)

CVICU RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients recovering from cardiovascular surgery and critical cardiac conditions
Monitor, assess, and document patient status, progress, and vital signs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
