Key Job Details – Labor & Delivery RN (Travel Nurse)

• Location: Key West, FL 33040 (Florida nursing jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Start Date: November 17, 2025
• End Date: February 16, 2026
• Duration: 13-week travel contract
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780–$1910

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida or compact state (Registered Nurse jobs in Florida)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• At least 2 completed travel nurse assignments preferred
• Clinical experience in L&D, postpartum, nursery, and Mother/Baby units
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
• AWHONN certification preferred (can be completed onsite)
• AHCA clearance required for Florida healthcare placements
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Secure housing within 50 miles of the facility prior to acceptance

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal phases
• Apply the nursing process in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership in providing safe patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training
• Delegate patient care tasks based on staff qualifications and experience
• Supervise and provide direction to assigned healthcare personnel
• Float to other nursing units as required by facility needs
