CVOR RN Job Details
- Location: Charleston, SC 29425 (South Carolina healthcare jobs)
- Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/24/2025 – End: 2/23/2026)
- Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130
- On-call: No call required
- Holiday Coverage: Possible holiday coverage
- Charting System: EPIC
- Parking: Free and convenient for night/weekend shifts
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience (Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse)
- Experience circulating all services: CT, Vascular, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Colorectal, Robotics, Bariatric
- Scrubbing experience in Vascular/General cases highly preferred
- Active South Carolina or Multi-state RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
- Radiation badge (provided by agency)
- Community hospital experience required
- Trauma Level I experience preferred
- EPIC charting experience required
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
CVOR RN Responsibilities
- Circulate and scrub for cardiovascular and general surgical procedures: Aortic Aneurysm repair, CABG, MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, and more
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: IV, Respiratory, Radiology, Rapid Response, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health records
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation safety standards
- Complete orientation and required modules prior to assignment start
- Provide holiday coverage as needed
