CVOR RN Job Details

Location: Charleston, SC 29425 (South Carolina healthcare jobs)
Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/24/2025 – End: 2/23/2026)
Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130
On-call: No call required
Holiday Coverage: Possible holiday coverage
Charting System: EPIC
Parking: Free and convenient for night/weekend shifts

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience (Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse)
Experience circulating all services: CT, Vascular, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Colorectal, Robotics, Bariatric
Scrubbing experience in Vascular/General cases highly preferred
Active South Carolina or Multi-state RN license required
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
Radiation badge (provided by agency)
Community hospital experience required
Trauma Level I experience preferred
EPIC charting experience required
Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

CVOR RN Responsibilities

Circulate and scrub for cardiovascular and general surgical procedures: Aortic Aneurysm repair, CABG, MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, and more
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: IV, Respiratory, Radiology, Rapid Response, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary
Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health records
Adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation safety standards
Complete orientation and required modules prior to assignment start
Provide holiday coverage as needed
