Shift: 12-hour night shifts (occasional day shift coverage may be required)

Weekend Coverage: Every weekend required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent high-risk Labor & Delivery RN experience in a large academic healthcare setting
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Vermont RN jobs
EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required)
BLS, NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (or equivalent) certifications
Ability to work every weekend and flexible with scheduling
Reliable transportation; vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires November–April
Complete work history required for submission (including bed count, EMR, facility type, and explanation of employment gaps over 90 days)

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver expert patient care in a high-risk Labor & Delivery environment
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring techniques
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide safe, evidence-based care
Accurately document patient care in EPIC EMR
Respond to emergencies and provide advanced life support as needed
Maintain flexibility to cover occasional day shifts and adapt to unit needs
Participate in bi-weekly orientation and ongoing professional development
