- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (occasional day shift coverage may be required)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Coverage: Every weekend required
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2520-$2700

- Transportation: Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (public transportation not accessible)
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent high-risk Labor & Delivery RN experience in a large academic healthcare setting
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Vermont RN jobs
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required)
- BLS, NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (or equivalent) certifications
- Ability to work every weekend and flexible with scheduling
- Reliable transportation; vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires November–April
- Complete work history required for submission (including bed count, EMR, facility type, and explanation of employment gaps over 90 days)
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Deliver expert patient care in a high-risk Labor & Delivery environment
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring techniques
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide safe, evidence-based care
- Accurately document patient care in EPIC EMR
- Respond to emergencies and provide advanced life support as needed
- Maintain flexibility to cover occasional day shifts and adapt to unit needs
- Participate in bi-weekly orientation and ongoing professional development
