ER RN Job Details – Germantown, TN

• Location: Germantown, Tennessee (38138) – A vibrant community near Memphis, known for excellent schools and beautiful parks.
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780 - $1910 per week
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing job
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Room, Level I Trauma Center
• Start Date: December 1, 2025
• End Date: March 2, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (Level I Trauma experience required)
• At least 1 completed previous travel nurse assignment
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• BLS certification (must remain current throughout contract)
• Valid driver's license required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Must reside at least 100 miles from facility (local radius rule)
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with application
• Willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's)

ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy Emergency Room
• Respond rapidly to trauma and critical care situations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Float between similar units and campuses within 20 miles as needed
• Accurately document patient care using Cerner or other EMR systems
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as required
• Maintain compliance with all facility and travel nursing policies
