- Assignment Length: 16 weeks (extension possible)

- Nursing Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Night)

Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
- Experience in large (500+ bed), teaching hospital required
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required)
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred; may be waived for candidates with large facility experience
- Active Registered Nurse license (RN license)
- Required certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, TNCC
- Preferred certifications: CEN, ENPC, MOAB, ProAct, or other de-escalation training
- Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (no public transportation access)
- Ability to work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day)
Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a busy ED
- Respond quickly to changing patient conditions and emergencies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation and patient management
- Maintain flexibility with rotating shifts and every other weekend scheduling
- Participate in bi-weekly orientation and ongoing professional development
- Comply with all hospital policies, including documentation of work history and employment gaps
