Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7PM – 7AM)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Colorado or compact state)
ACLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown or PCU nursing
Proficiency in managing cardiac drips (heparin, tikosin, diltiazem, amiodarone, nitro, Lasix, ketamine)
Strong teamwork skills and high energy

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients in a dynamic healthcare setting
Monitor and manage cardiac drips and advanced clinical equipment (telemetry, transport monitors, suction, feeding pumps, trachs, bipap, cpap, heated high flow, chest tubes, foleys, pacer wires/pacers, IV pumps, SCD pumps)
Assist with procedures including chest tube placement/removal, pacer wire removal, and 12-lead EKGs
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team of RNs and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
Maintain accurate patient documentation using Meditech EMR
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on patient safety and clinical excellence
