Travel Nursing Job Details

Location: Charleston, SC 29407
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: December 8, 2025
End Date: March 9, 2026
Shift: 5x8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 40
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1950 - $2100
On-Call: No
Weekend Requirement: No
Floating: Possible to similar units
Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab (2 procedure rooms)

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or compact state (must be active by start date)
Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
Previous charge nurse experience required
Proficiency with Epic electronic charting system required
Radiation badge (provided by agency)
Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
Ability to complete pre-employment compliance and orientation modules

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
Assist with cardiac implant closure devices, diagnostic caths, right heart cath, arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, baseline measurements, cardioversion, conduction studies, pacemaker insertion, and AICD insertion/programming
Monitor patients during procedures and administer emergency medications as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic
Float to similar nursing units as needed
Adhere to infection prevention and patient safety protocols
Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season if required
