ICU RN Job Details

Location: Key West, Florida (33040) – Florida Keys healthcare job
Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 6, 2026)
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1510 - $1620

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in Florida or compact state (required for Florida nursing jobs)
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (required for ICU nurse positions)
Ability to secure housing within 50 miles of the facility prior to acceptance
AHCA clearance required for Florida healthcare placements

ICU RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and manage life-support equipment
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
Accurately document patient care in the EMR system
Float to other nursing units as needed to support patient care
