Travel Nursing Job Details

Location: Payson, AZ 85541 (Arizona nursing jobs)
Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D RN)
Start Date: December 8, 2025
End Date: March 9, 2026
Duration: 13-week contract
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)
Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
Estimated Weekly Salary: $2410 - $2580
On-Call: Schedule determined by facility
Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility
Completion Bonus: $10,000 upon successful completion of assignment

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years (24 months) of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (Required)
Active Arizona RN license (Registered Nurse, Arizona)
Current certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross):
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
AFM

No license hits (clean nursing license)

Flu vaccination required (declinations considered)

Travel nursing experience preferred

Must submit a copy of driver’s license (AZ home address not eligible)

Compliance with facility background requirements

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
Monitor fetal and maternal well-being, respond to emergencies, and assist with deliveries
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the healthcare team
Educate patients and families on childbirth, postpartum recovery, and newborn care
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols
Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
