ER RN Job Details

• Location: Manchester, NH 03102 (New Hampshire healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Start Date: December 8, 2025
• End Date: March 9, 2026
• Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NH or compact state)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (required for ER nursing jobs)
• Strong adaptability and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient assessment abilities
• Dependability and punctuality
• Proficiency with EMR systems (Sunrise/Allscripts preferred)

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with cardiac, trauma, stroke, and psychiatric emergencies
• Assist with trauma care, laceration repair, orthopedic trauma, U/S IV and IO insertion, EKGs, and eye exams
• Operate advanced medical equipment (Lucas Device, Hotline Rapid Infuser, Alaris pumps, Pyxis)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a 25-room Emergency Department (ED)
• Follow department protocols and policies for patient assessment and care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure patient safety
• Float within the Emergency Department as needed (no floating to other hospital units)
