Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Key West, Florida (33040) – Enjoy Florida healthcare opportunities in a tropical paradise.
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• End Date: March 16, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1840-$1980

Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or compact state
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in Labor & Delivery nursing
• At least 2 completed travel nurse assignments
• Clinical experience in L&D, postpartum, nursery, and Mother/Baby units
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
• AWHONN certification preferred (can be completed onsite)
• AHCA clearance required for Florida nursing jobs
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Secure housing within 50 miles of the healthcare facility prior to acceptance

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care throughout antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal phases
• Apply the nursing process in accordance with Florida Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing nursing education
• Delegate and supervise patient care tasks based on staff education and experience
• Float to other healthcare units as required
