Travel Nursing Job Details

Nursing Shift: 12 Hour Days (06:45 – 19:15)

Weekend Requirement: Minimum 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period
No On-Call Required
Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680-$1800

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
Flexibility to float to stepdown or medical-surgical units as needed
Strong communication and clinical critical thinking skills

L&D Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a hospital setting
Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
Administer medications and manage IVs according to hospital protocols
Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
Comply with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
