  • Unit: M7 Birth – High Risk Labor & Delivery
  • Assignment Length: 16-32 weeks
  • Start Date: January 26, 2026
  • End Date: September 6, 2026
  • Shift: 12-hour night shifts; every weekend required
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2520-$2700
  • Employment Type: Travel RN
  • On-Site Nursing Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Vermont or compact state
  • Minimum 2 years of recent high-risk Labor & Delivery nursing experience
  • EPIC EMR experience within the past 12 months (required)
  • BLS, NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications
  • Weekend availability and flexible scheduling required
  • Experience in large academic hospital settings preferred
  • Reliable personal or rental transportation required (no public transit access)
  • All-season or snow tires required November–April

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to high-risk laboring patients and newborns
  • Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret fetal monitoring strips, and respond to obstetric emergencies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams in a fast-paced, academic hospital environment
  • Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
  • Participate in bi-weekly orientation and ongoing professional development
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
  • No float required for this travel nursing assignment
