ER RN Job Details – Fergus Falls, MN

• Location: Fergus Falls, MN 56537 – Discover a friendly Midwestern town surrounded by lakes and parks, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and those seeking a supportive community.
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/9/2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (Level 3 Trauma Center, Acute Stroke Ready Certified)
• Shifts: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts; every 3rd weekend required
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1940-$2080
• Charting System: Paragon & Touchworks (Allscripts)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Basic cardiology knowledge and ability to interpret cardiac strips
• Tele nursing skills required
• Experience with IV drips and ventilators (with respiratory therapy support)
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills

ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
• Assess, triage, and manage patients with acute and emergent medical conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, monitor IV drips, and manage ventilated patients as needed
• Accurately document all patient care activities in the EMR (Paragon & Touchworks)
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
