Location: Smyrna, TN 37167 – Tennessee nursing jobs in a friendly town with excellent parks and easy access to Nashville.

Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing
BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare setting

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; promptly report changes
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR)
