ICU RN Job Details
- Location: Glens Falls, NY 12801 (New York nursing jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/11/2025 – End: 3/12/2026)
- Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU - T5)
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Guaranteed Hours: 24 per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130
- Employment Type: Travel nursing
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience (Registered Nurse)
- At least 3 years of recent ICU/CCU clinical experience
- Active New York RN license (required for New York healthcare jobs)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
- EPIC EMR proficiency (clinical support experience)
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Willingness to float to Med Surg/Tele units
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Own vehicle for transportation
- Completion of Welle or CPI Verbal De-escalation training for onboarding
- Negative 14-panel drug screen required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
- New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required
- Resume, current skills checklist, and 1-2 supervisory signed references (from past 2 years)
- Permanent address must match Driver License/State ID (certain NY counties excluded)
ICU Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float to Med Surg/Tele units as needed to support hospital staffing
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in de-escalation and crisis prevention as needed
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color (no designs or cartoons, no hoodies).
Note: COVID vaccination is encouraged but not required. Requested time off must be submitted with application (no more than 5 days RTO accepted).
