ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Dickson, TN 37055
• Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing job
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/12/2026 – End: 4/13/2026)
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Dress Code: Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,470 - $1,570 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (Tennessee or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BLS
• Strong clinical skills in critical care and communication
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care to critically ill adults in a 6-bed ICU (patient ratios 2:1, some 1:1 and 3:1)
• Perform advanced nursing procedures: central line placements, arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubation
• Operate advanced ICU equipment including Arctic Sun and continuous EEG monitors
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including Nurse Techs and unit secretaries
• Float to ICU overflow unit as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR system
• Promote patient safety, satisfaction, and quality care standards
