Medical/Surgical RN Job Details

Location: Keene, NH (03431) – New Hampshire healthcare jobs
Unit: Thompson Unit – Medical/Surgical
Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract (12/22/2025 – 3/21/2026)
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend, rotating holidays
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2010 - $2160
Patient Ratios: 4:1 or 5:1, based on acuity
Facility: 39-bed, mixed-acuity (medical, surgical, stepdown)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active NH RN License or Compact RN License (proof of state residency required)
Minimum 1.5 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
Proficiency with Cardizem and Amiodarone drips
Telemetry nursing experience required
Current BLS certification

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, primarily elderly adults
Monitor and manage patients receiving Cardizem and Amiodarone drips
Utilize telemetry to assess and monitor patient status
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards
Deliver compassionate support to patients and their families
