Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift Travel Nursing Job in Keene, NH

Med/Surg RN Job Details

Location: Keene, NH 03431 (New Hampshire healthcare jobs)
Unit: Kingsbury Medical-Surgical (27 beds)
Contract Length: 13 weeks (12/22/2025 – 3/21/2026)
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Schedule: Every other weekend, rotating holidays
Patient Ratio: RN 5:1, LNA 3:1
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $2040

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License (proof of state residency required)
BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Proficient in post-surgical drains, central line care/maintenance, Foley catheter insertion, G/J/NG/PEG tube management, IV medication administration/IV push, wound care, and oxygen therapy
Epic EMR and telemetry experience preferred

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and elderly patients with medical and post-operative needs
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatments
Administer medications and perform procedures including central line care, wound care, and tube management
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members for comprehensive patient care
Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
Maintain a safe, supportive, and compliant healthcare environment
