ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Fort Mill, SC 29715 (South Carolina healthcare jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: ICU and CCU
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse contract
• Start Date: December 1, 2025
• End Date: March 1, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float Requirement: Float to other units as needed within skillset
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,620 - $1,740

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• Strong clinical skills in critical care and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to adapt and float to other hospital units as needed

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU and CCU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, and provide advanced life support as needed
• Educate patients and families on care plans and progress
• Float to other units within your skillset as required
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards
