• Location: Saint Louis, MO 63131 (Town and Country)
• Job Title: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Healthcare Setting: Medical-Surgical Unit
• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12 hour shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Openings: 5 RN positions
• Start Date: December 8, 2025
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Missouri or compact state)
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required prior to first shift
• Stepdown, LTACH, or ICU nursing experience required
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday
• Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience required (2 years preferred)

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for all patients within 8 hours of admission
• Develop individualized care plans and identify patient teaching needs/goals
• Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and deliver direct clinical care
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education from day of admission
• Communicate changes in patient status to the healthcare team for safety and continuity
• Supervise and provide direction to ancillary nursing staff
• Promote patient and employee safety, following hospital policies and procedures
• Contribute to unit teamwork and participate in team-building activities
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation as needed
• Engage in professional development and continuing education opportunities
